We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as aProject Integrator, Craftsman (M&S Integration Ops) to work out of Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado.

PAY: $156,000 - $172,000

JOB SUMMARY:

USfalcon is seeking a Project Integrator to lead the development and execution of the 392d Combat Training Squadron’s (392 CTS) M&S strategy and roadmap for integrating current and future space modeling and simulation (M&S) capabilities into USSF exercises. This role involves managing technical projects for the 392 CTS Technical Director's office. The Project Integrator position requires a mix of project management, technical, acquisition, and requirements development skills to ensure the smooth integration of space M&S capabilities into the 392 CTS operations. This position is at Schriever Space Force Base, CO, and requires on-site support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Lead the long-term strategy and roadmap development effort for implementing the 392 CTS’s M&S enclave.
  • Assist the 3IS III contract M&S Task Lead with the day-to-day management responsibilities associated with developing project plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and following established quality standards.
  • Lead the project management for developing and implementing government-approved offsite facility capabilities.
  • Assist the government with facility utility board (FUB) activities related to possible 392 CTS exercise training facility solutions.
  • Proactively identify and address potential delays in schedule, cost, or performance by identifying, monitoring, and resolving project risks and escalating critical items to contract and Government stakeholders when necessary to ensure timely completion of milestones.
  • Actively engage with industry partners, research institutions, and other stakeholders to facilitate the integration of the 392CTS’s technical projects and gather insights that contribute to the overall success of the 392 CTS’s M&S strategy and roadmap.
  • Manage project risk using a standard risk management process (e.g., risk identification, quantification, and mitigation).
  • Interface daily with the Government customer to ensure the contract team is progressing toward the accomplishment of project work and deliverables.
  • Attend technical interchange meetings (TIM), in-progress reviews, and programmatic-level meetings related to 392 CTS-sponsored USSF exercises and mission-focused events.
  • Develop schedules, plans, and briefings; coordinate and monitor activities; and report on those activities through trip reports, briefings, meeting minutes, point papers, quad charts, etc.
  • Attend weekly organizational meetings, as necessary, to maintain awareness of the 392 CTS leadership priorities, tasks, and issues.
  • Carry out tasks as directed by contract leadership required to ensure 392 CTS mission success.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience working in DoD or National space organizations.
  • Experience within the DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) applying project management processes to create and manage project plans, resulting in timely delivery of project milestones across interrelated efforts.
  • Experience using risk management concepts and strategies to ensure project success.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing technical and financial data associated with DoD or IC projects to assist with financial and manpower resource allocation.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • PMP certification or a Certificate of Project Management from an accredited institution.
  • Experience managing DoD or IC projects from initial design to completion.
  • Experience with DoD acquisition, contracting, or Programming, Planning, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirement.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE: Top Secret/SCI

TRAVEL:This position requires limited travel (5-6 weeks/year).
