We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as aModeling and Simulation Developer, Craftsman (SWARM Deployment) to work out of Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado.

JOB SUMMARY:
USfalcon is seeking a Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Developer to support the 392d Combat Training Squadron’s (392 CTS) efforts to design, plan, and execute deployment of the Space Wargaming Analysis, Readiness, and Mission-Planner (SWARM) capability to approved USSF units and Combatant Command (CCMD) exercises. The M&S Developer on the SWARM Deployment team will provide initial SWARM training for units requesting a SWARM Perpetual License. The initial training will include how to use SWARM to develop basic to intermediate-level orbital and terrestrial models and build basic scenarios. The M&S Developer will also support USSF exercise events when not supporting critical SWARM Deployment activities. This position is at Schriever Space Force Base, CO, and requires on-site support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Support the development and execution of a concept of operations (CONOPS) and a comprehensive strategy for deploying SWARM to non-392 CTS USSF units.
- Design, plan, and execute a comprehensive training package to include milestones and deliverables for SWARM training at SWARM-deployed locations as part of SWARM deployment solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, including government stakeholders, to gather, document, and manage SWARM training requirements at SWARM-deployed locations.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate potential risks during the SWARM deployment process.
- Maintain detailed records of SWARM training processes, updates, challenges, and resolutions at SWARM-deployed locations to support internal tracking, ensure accurate record-keeping, and enable continuous review and improvement of the training program.
- Identify gaps and shortfalls in current M&S tools and recommend solutions to provide timely, realistic exercise capabilities.
- Participate as part of the Exercise Control Group (ECG) and White Cell, as required, for various 392 CTS-hosted exercises and mission-focused events.
- Capture, analyze, and report observations and lessons learned identified during the design, planning, and execution of 392 CTS-hosted exercisesand mission-focused events.
- Support hot wash debriefs and After Action Report development for applicable exercises or mission-focused events.
- Attend technical interchange meetings (TIM), in-progress reviews, and programmatic-level meetings related to 392 CTS-sponsored USSF exercises and mission-focused events.
- Develop schedules, plans, and briefings; coordinate and monitor activities; and report on those activities through trip reports, briefings, meeting minutes, point papers, quad charts, etc.
- Attend weekly organizational meetings, as necessary, to maintain awareness of the 392 CTS leadership priorities, tasks, and issues.
- Carry out tasks as directed by contract leadership required to ensure 392 CTS mission success.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years working in or for DoD organizations.
- Experience using STK, ODTK, or other M&S tools to plan analysis of orbital maneuvers, build functional orbital and space terrestrial models (e.g., space domain awareness (SDA), communications, electronic warfare, directed energy), and develop exercise scenarios.
- Experience supporting modeling, simulation, and analysis of national space-related problems.
- Experience modeling space scenarios for system evaluation and mission effectiveness.
- Experience (i.e., a basic proficiency) in coding languages (e.g., Python, Matlab, Perl).
- Experience inorbitanalysis and prediction.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Level III certified in STK
- Previously certified Orbital Analyst
- Experience managing projects from initial design to completion.
- Graduate of Space 300 and the 319 CTS/ASOPS Advanced Orbital Mechanics courses
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
