Full-Time Senior DevOps Engineer – Herndon, VA
Position Highlights:
• Security Clearance: Must have a current/active TS/SCI and be willing to pass a CI polygraph.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related discipline (4 years of additional experience may be substituted for a degree).
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in DevOps.
• Technical Skills:
◦ Proficient in managing code using Git and associated tools like Bitbucket, GitLab, GitHub, or Gitea.
◦ Extensive experience with Kubernetes.
◦ CI/CD implementation using technologies such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Bamboo.
◦ Expertise in automated deployment technologies like CloudFormation, Ansible, and Terraform.
◦ Familiarity with cloud application deployment strategies, including Helm and Jenkins Pipelines.
◦ Skilled in crafting Docker images and running containers in various environments.
◦ Strong knowledge of Linux, macOS, and Windows operating systems.
◦ Experience with open-source data storage technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, etc.).
◦ Ability to build Linux shell scripts for tasks like CRON jobs or remote SSH execution.
◦ General knowledge of cybersecurity methods across all tiers of the cloud technology stack.
• Work Environment: Must be willing to work on-site 5 days a week, both in and out of a SCIF.
