Position Title : System Administrator (Level IV)

Position Location : This position is full time onsite at the Brooke Army Medical Center (Brooke AFB) in San Antonio, TX.

Daily Responsibilities :

•Act as an on-site lead for all contractors in the branch as it pertains to the below functions

•Preform primary server administrator duties for government owned nurse call, middleware, wireless messaging servers and associated appliances.

•Maintain system integrity, patching and hardening as it aligns with DoD and local information assurance managers (IAM) policies.

•Responsible for writing and maintaining documentation and providing artifacts as dictated by local IAM; IE-system scans, standard operating procedures, backup recovery plan, disaster recovery plan, continuation of operations plan, software list, hardware list, and all evolving associated risk management framework documentation to maintain DoD security posture.

•Maintain working relationship with nurse call/middleware/overhead paging/wireless pocket pager messaging system vendors to stay abreast of new technologies and initiatives.

•Identify customers' requirements and provide solutions to improve critical nurse call related alerts and call flow processes to staff end points.

•Troubleshoot and repair existing infrastructure supporting wireless devices associated with nurse call, middleware system, overhead paging system, and wireless pocket pager systems.

•Respond and troubleshoot issues with the Nurse Call system immediately to maintain system uptime.

•Provide monthly report of completed work orders and tasks to government lead.

•Maintain accountability of all property book inventory associated with nurse call, middleware, overhead paging, and wireless messaging systems.

•Develop a BOM required for each work order/project. The BOM shall list item description, part number, quantity, unit price and total cost.

Required Years of Experience (min) :

•Eight (8) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.

Required Degree/Certifications :

•Master's Degree and/or equivalency (BA/BS = 2 years additional experience | HS/GED = 6 years additional experience)

•CompTIA Security + certified

•Assured Compliance and Assessment Solution (ACAS) certified

•Microsoft Windows Server 2022 certified

•IAT III: Please see Section 3.0 Commercial Certificates for DoD 8570.01-M certificate requirement

Required Experience :

•Five (5) years or more experience in a major hospital supporting more than 100+ bed environment.

•Five (5) years of experience supporting military production systems.

•Ten (10) years of experience supporting Critical communication systems.

•Five (5) years of practical experience in a production environment or at the discretion of the government based on excess work experience.

•Subject matter expertise in (Unified Critical Telecommunication Systems) such as nurse call, middleware transport, pocket pagers, and public address systems that intra-communicate supporting urgent and emergent staff within the facility.

Required Clearance :

•SECRET or Eligible to obtain a SECRET Clearance (Tier 3 (T3))
