Application Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

• Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems
• Troubleshooting technical issues
• Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems
• Provides technical support to project team members
• Resolving network issues
• May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections
• Writes manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures
• Talking customers through a series of actions to resolve a problem
• Replacing or repairing the necessary parts
• Testing and evaluating new technologies
• Typically reports to the team lead of the development group

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in area of specialty
• 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows (server) system
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Tools
• Must be familiar with computer periphery installation, such as printer, scanner, network etc.
• To be able to demonstrate the system developed by development team
• Quick learner of new environment and system
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Oracle database and SQL commands
• Knowledge of Kiosk design
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software design
