ASRC Federal and Broadleaf are seeking qualified candidates to fill our Senior System Administrator position supporting our Operations Support Services customer located in Peachtree City, GA.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES: Manage all Systems Administration-related tasks for Linux Server environments supporting applications critical to the customer's mission
Manage related Hyper-V and/or VMware virtualization for Linux systems
Install, operate, and maintain all production, pre-production, development, and test environments. schedule and perform regular patching
Develop administration plans, document configurations, and file and manage change requests.
Submit and manage POA&M's and/or Risk Acceptances as needed
Coordinate with vendors and application owners to facilitate application installation, upgrade, and customization
Ensure smooth operations of production systems and perform regular maintenance and administration to minimize and reduce the risk of systems down time
Troubleshoot service impacting issues; work with application owners and cross-functional to bring service impacting issues to resolution in a timely manner
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 5 years' experience managing and coordinating all Systems Administration-related tasks for Linux servers in an enterprise environment.
Experience with RedHat (RHEL) strongly needed
Experience with Satellite and Kickstart preferred
Experienced managing Hyper-V and/or VMware in an enterprise environment
Experienced designing, installing, troubleshooting, administrating, and maintaining Systems for critical applications
Experienced coordinating with cross-functional SME's to drive issues to timely resolution.
Experienced drafting and managing change requests, POA&M's, and Risk Acceptances through review and approval with Management
Experience managing or integrating Linux in Microsoft Azure or other cloud environments
Manage and administer Linux systems in Cloud and collaborating with engineers managing the underlying IAAS infrastructure.
CLEARANCE LEVEL: Active Secret Clearance preferred, or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
CERTIFICATION(S): Must hold IAT II (Security+) certification
