Overview

R&P is seeking an Integration and Test Analyst to support the installation, integration and activation of the US Navy's premier shipboard employed hypersonic missile system aboard the fleet's most advanced surface combatants. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients.

Responsibilities

▪ Provide on-site inspection support of shipboard testing, compartment completion inspections, certifications, and trials.

▪ Assist, in conjunction with the Program Office and SUPSHIP, the management of the ship testing and certification program.

▪ Track and document daily test execution and progress.

▪ Assist with coordinating Alternation Installation Team (AIT) activities.

▪ Record documented deficiencies, screenings and status using an automated information system.

▪ Participate in at-sea ship trials and trial card pre-screening.

▪ Conduct trial card recording, tracking, coding, trend analysis, and engineering analysis.

▪ Provide periodic trial card reports.

▪ Coordinate inspections and tests to complete required ship certifications

▪ Liaison with PEO IWS, Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) and PEO C4I integration managers to assist in technical issue resolution and ensure the seamless integration and test of integrated warfare, and C4I systems to Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems.

▪ Conduct and support Government led shipboard troubleshooting and test support to resolve technical issues and provide recommendations for improvements.

▪ Coordinate with equipment supplier and OEM service teams and engineering to conduct troubleshooting and provide recommendations for improvements.

▪ Work closely with and monitor PEO IWS, SSP and PEO C4I systems to ensure design, production, integration, and test is completed according to schedule and meets shipyard delivery and test need dates.

▪ Review, track and assess Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Information (GFI) schedules and deliveries.

▪ Assist in assessing impact of late GFE deliveries and developing workarounds to mitigate production impact.

▪ Coordinate technical and technical acquisition management support to Test Officer for the integration and testing of warfare systems and Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems, including those systems provided as GFE.

Qualifications

▪ Bachelor's degree in engineering plus 5 or more years related experience OR a High School diploma with minimum 10 years of related experience

▪ Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and Excel required

▪ Familiar with working in a shipyard

▪ Must have experience using Electronic Trial Card and Technical Support Management programs

▪ Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in ship design, ship production or ship systems

▪ Experience in the operation, maintenance, logistical support and testing of shipboard Combat and HM&E systems

▪ Proficiency with MS Project and/or Primavera preferred

▪ Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

▪ Must possess and exercise diplomatic tact and have the capability and capacity to develop and manage complex business relationships with multiple organizations

▪ Active Secret Clearance is required

Salary
