Bailey Information Technology Consultants is seeking a skilled and driven Tier 3 IT Specialist to join our dynamic team in Chantilly, VA. If you're ready to tackle complex challenges, work on mission-critical systems, and collaborate with top-tier professionals, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Diagnose and resolve high-level system and operational incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent future issues.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring seamless operations.
- Support Tier 2 teams with advanced troubleshooting for complex issues.
- Collaborate with mission partners and external entities to resolve enterprise incidents and integration challenges.
- Analyze operational trends, identify recurring issues, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Partner with Ops Tech Leads and Development Leads to enhance system stability.
- Assist deployment and ISP teams with seamless baseline deployments.
- Be ready to step in during off-hours for high-priority incidents.
What You'll Bring:
- Education: BS in IT or related field with 6-8 years of relevant experience, or MS with 2-4 years of experience.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in COTS products, including Oracle Identity and Access Management (IdAM), Apache webgates, and CA API Gateway.
- Scripting skills in Linux (Shell, Bash).
- Strong background in COTS integration and custom code development.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication.
- Quick learner with a passion for IT concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Self-motivated team player who can also work independently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Oracle IdAM products (OAM, OIF, OID, OVD, OUD, OIM).
- WebLogic expertise.
- Linux/UNIX proficiency.
- Knowledge of LDAPs and PKI authentication.
Clearance Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- Must meet SCI eligibility and be willing to obtain a CI polygraph post-hire.
- U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of the work.
