Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Monitor and maintain appropriate cybersecurity controls and ensure OPSEC requirements are according to the performance standards established in the AITP Services List (Latest version) for all assigned servers.
- Maintain all aspects of the Hyper Converged Infrastructure environment.
- Maintain control and access of data storage, space allocation, and device usage for authorized users; analyze file organization and database structure, taking action as required to eliminate deficiencies; set alarms and report unauthorized access attempts/intrusions, correct weaknesses/vulnerabilities, and document permission violations at local, group, or global level.
- Perform local database administration for standard database software for common-user services (e.g. Microsoft Office Access, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).
- Perform backups for standard databases for common-user services.
- Manage virtual filers including Virtual File Manager system.
- Identify and replace failed hardware with Government furnished replacements; ensure all Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems are operating on latest versions of software and have required patches.
- Create and manage Group Policy Objects.
- Ensure compliance of all end user devices with DISA STIGs, MUDGs, and any other DoD, USCYBERCOM, DA, ARCYBER, NETCOM or other authoritative cybersecurity sources.
- Ensure compliance with established Fort Eisenhower NEC vulnerability management policies, maintaining compliance of hardware and software for all SAN devices on the unclassified and classified Fort Eisenhower-ICAN.
- Draft and maintain SOP documents for the functional category.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in systems engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Certifications: Obtained required DoDM 8140.03 CE/Baseline Certifications prior to task order start. COMPTIA Security + required. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), or equivalent. • DoD 8140.01 Baseline Certifications of, Basic: A+ or CND or Network+; Intermediate: Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC; or Advanced: FITSP-O or GFACT or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP. Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate.
- Optional Certifications: Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Red Hat Certified System Administrator, and VMware Certified Professional. OSHA Overview and National Safety Compliance for Safety, and OSHA confined space.
- Experience: Significant experience in systems architecture, engineering, and cybersecurity within a DoD or government environment.
- Elevated/Privileged Access.
