Senior Windows Systems Engineer
Active Secret clearance required
This engineer has to be very self-motivated and self-starter on tasks. Expected to be given limited direction and will architect, administrator or engineer tasks as needed with the data center lead.
Primary Duties:
• Microsoft Domain administration; senior level
◦ Active directory domain services (AD DS) experience 5+ years
◦ Group Policy Management 3+ years
◦ VMware/ESXi experience 5+ years
◦ SCCM experience 5+ years
◦ Exchange engineering
• Scripting languages such as PowerShell and batch
• Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
• Additional duties designated by Data Center Lead
Qualifications include:
• Current, active government clearance of Secret or greater
• Certification: Security+
• DoD compute certification related to work: (Exchange, Windows Server, MSCE)
• Previous SIPR work as an Exchange SME/Engineer (no less than 5 years)
• Solid experience with STIGs and Patch management is a plus
• Ability to work independently, cooperatively and collegiality with others, on multidisciplinary teams and to establish professional working relationships
• Takes direction well from management
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
Preferred:
• Solarwinds experience
• Microsoft certificate authority experience
• WSUS experience
• SQL experience
• CISCO HyperFlex experience
