THE WORK
-AN/SPY-1 Operator, Instructor, and curriculum
developer: This individual will join a multi-instructor
and developer workforce providing
Aegis and BMD course materials and
instruction for our U.S. and International
Program customers.
-Develop innovative training solutions and
recommendations to support emerging training
requirements, provide technical liaison
between OEM, product development teams
and internal and external customers, support/
attend technical meetings, develop specialized
briefs, and develop and present training
materials for Aegis and BMD.
-Domestic and Foreign travel is required
-Primary work location is Dahlgren, VA.
*US Citizenship is required. Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.

Basic Qualifications:
-Specialized experience related to operation
and maintenance of the Aegis Weapon System.
-Ability to conduct training in both classroom
and shipboard environments.
-Demonstrated ability to build and conduct
presentations for senior U.S. or FMS Navy
officials.
-Graduate of at least one AN/SPY-1 series
course.
*US Citizenship is required. Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.
Desired Skills:
-Experience with the Aegis Combat System representing at least one shipboard tour and
one training/instructional tour.
-Master Training Specialist (MTS)
-Ability to develop curriculum IAW NAVEDTRA
