Tyto Athene is searching for a highly experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) AJW Integrated Support Services (AISS) program. This position involves managing a diverse portfolio of technical and programmatic initiatives supporting the modernization, security, and operational excellence of the National Airspace System (NAS). Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage programmatic, functional, and organizational support services aligned with the FAA's AJW strategic initiatives, including NAS modernization, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) migration, and integrating emerging technologies such as UAS.
* Oversee the planning, implementation, and execution of task orders (TOs) within the AISS framework, ensuring alignment with FAA objectives and deliverables.
* Coordinate with key AJW directorates (Operations Support, ATC Facilities/Engineering Support, and NAS Security/Enterprise Operations) to deliver tailored solutions for NAS infrastructure and systems.
* Provide leadership for cross-functional teams, ensuring integration across engineering, test and evaluation, cybersecurity, supply chain risk management, and business intelligence domains.
* Manage relationships with FAA stakeholders, prime contractors, and other external
entities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
* Monitor project performance, budgets, schedules, and risks to achieve program goals and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, program management, or a related field.
* Minimum 10 years of program management experience, including leading complex, enterprise-level programs for government or aviation organizations.
* Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale initiatives related to telecommunications, cybersecurity, infrastructure modernization, or emerging technologies.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholder relationships effectively.
* Experience with FAA, NAS, or similar aviation/transportation systems and regulatory environments.
* Proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced, mission-critical settings.
Desired:
* Master's degree in business administration, systems engineering, or related field.
* PMP or equivalent program management certification.
* In-depth knowledge of FAA's AJW directorates, ATO operations, and strategic goals
* Experience with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) implementation and cybersecurity solutions.
* Familiarity with the integration of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and other emerging technologies into enterprise systems.
* Experience managing federal task orders and contracts, including knowledge of acquisition planning and procurement processes
Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret clearance
Location/Travel: On-site required with eventual telework. Occasional travel as needed up to 20% of the time including trips to
