R&P is seeking a Post Delivery Test and Trial Manager to manage and supervise technical, programmatic, and logistics support efforts for U.S. Navy Shipbuilding Programs. Work will be performed supporting SUPSHIP Gulf Coast in Pascagoula, MS.
Responsibilities
- The PDT&T Manger will communicate and coordinate directly with the Post Delivery Test Manager (N64) and PEO SHIPS sponsors to fulfill the following tasks:
- Manager and oversee daily conduct of all Post Delivery tests in port and underway.
- Assist in preparation of the PDT&T Manual, PDT&T Briefs, and overall lead of the PDT&T schedule.
- Coordinate and direct various test leads in scheduling, performance, and reporting of their respective PDT&T events.
- Ensure individual test leads follow established PDT&T processes: Problem Reporting, test plan reviews, conduct readiness reviews, etc.
- Manage all test and trials shipboard riders for underway periods.
- Prepare daily underway PDT&T situation reports for the Test and Trials Principal Acquisition Program Manager (PMS3772).
- Coordinate with the Hull Manager to ensure documented PRs & repairs and industrial work that may affect a PDT&T event are included in work plans.
- Provide day-to-day administration of PDT&T events, coordinating with waterfront PDT&T leads, and oversight of the PDT&T event teams.
- Works with TSTP lead, Post Delivery Hull manager teams (Hull manager & CSPE) to ensure test-limiting issues generated from test events are resolved prior to the next test.
- Issue a PMS 377 PDT&T summary email every day during an active test Event window
- Tracks completion of all PDT&T reportable (SITREPS, test plans, final reports).
- Identify all risks associated with PDT&T events and provide a detailed risk assessment for each event.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in a related field plus at least 10 years of relevant work experience OR High School diploma with minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated in depth knowledge of DoD and NAVSEA programs, processes, and initiatives.
- Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
