CACI is looking for an Architecture and Engineering (A&E) Manager to oversee a team of Information Technology (IT) professionals supporting our customer, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command Information Technology and Logistics Support (SCITLS) contract.

The Opportunity:

The A&E Manager will work closely with a team of dedicated multi-disciplined professionals in supporting customer mission objectives. You will analyze existing command systems, processes, and requirements to produce models for senior leaders. You will be responsible for evaluating new IT requirements, inbound technologies, and proposed enterprise services considering command strategies and enterprise impacts.

Responsibilities:
  • Creating, managing, maintaining, and distributing System, Functional, and Domain Metamodels for use during all aspects and phases of capability and lifecycle engineering activities across the USSTRATCOM portfolio.
  • Curation of a System Engineering Management Plan (SEMP) in coordination with the Government that covers the entire portfolio under the USSTRATCOM C4IT Directorate Area of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Ensuring that standards and processes are maintained in accordance with DoD and USSTRATCOM policy such as DoD Directive 5137.02, DoDI 5000.82, and SI 301-6 through all phases of A&E activities.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, have strong leadership skills, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with technical personnel and customer stakeholders.

The A&E Manager provides and oversees the delivery of Command engineering designs, system builds, and escalated support to services and products; Provide network and system engineering support services to improve customer service, system performance, and reliability for the C4 Networks and Systems for projects designated by the Command; Performs/supports/directs all required engineering functions found in the Service Design Domain.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Possess a current Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) at time of proposal submission.
  • A Masters' degree in Engineering or Computer Science from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited school.
  • Meets the Advanced certification requirements in alignment with DoDM 8140.3. e.g GCLD or CISSP.
  • A minimum of five years' experience within the last ten years, engineering complex IT systems.
  • A minimum of five years' experience with Systems Modeling Language (SySML), DoDAF and 3 years' experience with UAF.
  • Experience utilizing architecture tools such as SPARX EA or Cameo.
  • Experience with tool automation and integration, technical auditing.


Desired:
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience managing enterprise cloud and network environments for a Federal/DoD environment.
  • Expert knowledge of Azure, AWS, networking, firewalls, and related tools
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience leading teams performing complex IT systems design.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience with supporting Models such as Archimate 3.x and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) generation.
  • Experience with model automation and cross tool integrations.
  • Experience with complex system of systems engineering methodology practice.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$99,000 - $217,700
