The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer/Editor to support the National Leadership Command Capabilities (NLCC) Management Office (NMO) within the Office of the Chief Information Officer of the Department of Defense. This position is located in the Pentagon.

Responsibilities:
Assist preparation of executive correspondence to include creating official documents, proofreading executive correspondence, publications, and memoranda (for conformance, clarity, duplication, or conflict), electronic and hard copy data storage, and monitoring, printing and tracking taskers.

Assist preparation of documents in response to Congressional inquiries.

Assist drafting policy and necessary guidance documents such as the Terms of Reference (TOR), Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and Charters that provide guidance for successful operation of the working groups.

Assist coordination for conferences and meetings and the development of briefings and briefing materials for use by NMO leadership as it pertains to Pentagon Resiliency effort, national security systems, and interagency initiatives.

Assist with the improvement and simplification of reporting requirements as well as analyzing documents to include regulations and directives for conformance, clarity, duplication, or conflict.

Qualifications:

Required:

Active TS/SCI security clearance

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

10+ years of related experience

Prior Pentagon (Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Service staffs, etc.) or equivalent Departmental experience

Exceptional writing and editing skills

Comfortable interacting with senior-level officials

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$64,400 - $135,100
