We seek an experienced, self-starting inidividual to serve as a part of the Company's Corporate Staff to lead, manage, and develop federal proposals. The ideal candidate will have a lifelong commitment to discovery, self-growth, and learning. We prefer the Proposal Manager to work from our Corporate headquarters in Hamilton Township, NJ but will consider remote work locations as well.
Duties and Responsibilities:
$62,000 - $143,000

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the company's solutioning and responses to requests for proposal from the customer
- Manage the proposal team from bid decision through award and hand off to the program manager
- Configuration control, compliance manager, and publisher for all proposal documents
- Create and execute a proposal management plan
- Lead color team reviews (Black Hat, Blue Team, Pink/Red/Gold Reviews)
- Facilitate Green Team reviews with the pricing team
- Lead solutioning sessions; identify customer priorities and win themes
- Manage all meetings as part of the proposal process
- Manage communication with entire proposal and technical team
- Ensure all proposals and meetings are brand compliant

- At least five years of experience leading proposal responses for Federal Proposals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices for proposal management and development
- Proven experience developing high scoring, compliant proposals
- Deep understanding of Shipley Business Development Process
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite to include creating style guides that facilitate ease of proposal development
- Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure complete mission success
- Association of Proposal Management Professional (aPMP) certified (Practitioner or professional level)
- Extensive experience in organizational communications as a leader
- Substantial leadership experience through military service or corporate leadership
- Worked within an ISO 9001:2015 environment
- Application of the Shipley method of proposal management or analogous approach
