Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services' company, is looking for an Instructional Systems Designer to support the United States (U.S.) Customs and Border Protection (CBP). This is a full-time position on a 1 year contract that takes place onsite in Harpers Ferry, WV. Certified training will be received, and provided at Tradecraft HUMINT schools.

Responsibilities

  • Follow and have a working knowledge of instructional systems design principles and the Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate (ADDIE) or similar models for course development to build new training programs.
  • Supports multiple courses.
  • Maintains curriculum to ensure courses are up to date and student centric.
  • Analyzes course content to identify the impact of curriculum decisions.
  • Leads the design and development of instructional strategies/techniques that are reflective of current directives, doctrine, conditions, and procedures to meet the needs of the agency.
  • Conducts quality assurance assessments of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases of the Instructional Systems Design process to ensure that CBP courses are using a standardized approach and utilizes best practices; have and maintain records/documents that clearly explain the decision process; are effective, efficient, provide the appropriate, intended training; instructors are using the appropriate training techniques and products; identify substandard performance or trends as early as possible for corrective action; and have adequate infrastructure to support all phases of training that are legally defensible.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must hold an active Top-Secret clearance.
  • Experience working in large and small teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 10 + years' experience preferred.
  • 8 + years' experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication skills, as well as sound interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience in the tradecraft and/or subject matter expertise relevant to the instant training program and instructional design and curriculum implementation.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Estimated Salary/Wage

USD $125,000.00/Yr. Up to USD $140,000.00/Yr.
