Student: Quality Assurance Assistant

The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a student who possesses a high level of attention to detail to assist in various Quality Assurance activities. This includes helping to manage and maintain company documents, ensure documentation accuracy, digitize records, support data entry, process quality records, verify calibrated items, and support in various other activities as needed in the QA department.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled at USU with at least one full year of schooling remaining
• Ability to work 15-20 hours per week (between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm) during spring and fall semesters and up to 40 hours during school breaks
• High attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must have problem solving skills
• Computer-savvy and hands-on experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong, professional verbal and written communications skills
• Effective planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and recall
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident of the US, or other US person

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree related to business, management information systems, technical writing, or another related field
• Previous related work experience
• Typing and editing skills
