Job Description

We are seeking a AutoSys Developer and Administrator who can work on the application maintenance, hosting/production support and application development to support our client Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). As an AutoSys Developer, a qualified candidate must well-versed in all aspects of SDLC with broad expertise in the field's concepts, practices, and procedures, and expertly performs a variety of complex tasks with minimal guidance. Must be available to work 24x7 rotation every-other week, Mon-Sun.

Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $123,250 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Job Description

We are seeking a AutoSys Developer and Administrator who can work on the application maintenance, hosting/production support and application development to support our client Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). As an AutoSys Developer, a qualified candidate must well-versed in all aspects of SDLC with broad expertise in the field's concepts, practices, and procedures, and expertly performs a variety of complex tasks with minimal guidance. Must be available to work 24x7 rotation every-other week, Mon-Sun.
HOW AN AUTOSYS DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Perform AutoSys Development and Product Administration using in-depth knowledge of AutoSys Workload Automation AE product.
- Utilize experience in CA's Autosys scheduler, and AutoSys Scheduling Software (WCC) to perform the following:
- Code development using JIL language to define/update new/existing machines, jobs and boxes/threads.
- Understanding of complex interdependencies and defining new/update interdependencies based on functional requirements.
- Defining new standard or extended calendars and managing existing calendars.
- Perform AutoSys Workload Automation AE product maintenance tasks like installation on new servers, product upgrades, and applying patches.
- Engage vendor support for issue resolutions involving the AutoSys product.
- Provide support to batch operations/cycles for any AutoSys issues/questions.
- Perform WCC functionalities such as user onboarding/offboarding, and creation/maintenance of job monitoring views.
- Work on UNIX or Linux servers and comfortability to use Linux commands.
- Develop various scripts as per business requirement using Unix/shell scripting.
- Write SQL queries and PL/SQL packages, functions, and procedures.
- Perform troubleshooting and invent architecting solutions that are used to make changes to complex distributed platforms for product enhancement.
- Utilize Oracle Federal Financials R12 knowledge (or willingness to learn) during AutoSys Development.
- Provide weekend support during system maintenance.
- Prioritize multiple tasks, effective work estimation, and meeting deadlines while collaborating with team(s).
- Communicate technical issues in a straightforward and concise manner.
- Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
- Handle defect management, including Defect creation, modification, and tracking, reporting using industry standard tools like ServiceNow
- Use Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline tools like�� GitLab, Flexdeploy.
- Must be available to work 24x7 rotation every-other week, Mon-Sun.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or computer science (or equivalent) and 8+ years of related experience as outlined, or MS + 6 years' related experience
- Strong experience in Unix Shell Scripting
- Experience in AutoSys (Autosys Scheduling Software) and JIL language.
- Experience with Linux or Unix environment.
- Technical experience in PL-SQL/SQL/Unix/Linux scripting
- Experience in Java programming language.
- Experience in authoring Autosys batches in JIL and UNIX shell scripts
- Capable of analyzing issues and providing solutions
- Significant prior experience with the standard software development lifecycle (analysis/design, development, testing, implementation, support)
- Ability to maintain/interpret complex code and resolve issues
- Ability to track and articulate the problem/issue. Communicate with CA support/other team members to resolve issues in a timely fashion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Oracle EBS, preferably Oracle Federal Financials R12, with specific emphasis on the System Administration module.
- Understanding for IBM Content Manager OnDemand.
- Java programming language.
- Previous production support experience; ideally in 24x6 rotation.
- AutoSys Workload Automation AE R12 product
