Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure IT systems are designed, implemented, and maintained effectively to support the needs of the organization and its users, acting as a bridge between requirements and technical solutions.
- Work with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements.
- Create technical documents, including flow diagrams, system models, specifications, user manuals, and guides, ensuring that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to stakeholders.
- Evaluate proposed solutions to assess technical and financial viability.
- Coordinate with developers, network engineers, and other IT professionals to implement systems, ensuring that systems are integrated smoothly with existing infrastructure.
- Evaluate test plans to ensure systems meet requirements, identifying and resolving any issues.
- Assist with training users and IT staff on new systems and technologies.
- Support troubleshooting for system-related issues.
- Analyze and improve processes, recommending changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure systems comply with security policies and regulatory requirements to protect data and systems from unauthorized access.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements, recommending implementation of new technologies that can benefit the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant discipline.
- Masters degree is equivalent to 2 years of experience.
- PhD degree is equivalent to 4 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DoD programs.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
- ITIL certification.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have an active/current Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
- Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
