ManTech is seeking motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineers of multiple levels to join our team in the Southern Florida area. We have opportunities in the Doral, FL area. If you are looking for an opportunity in this location, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Focuses on DoD 5000.02 artifacts and documentation to perform requirements analysis, including decomposition of high-level requirements into artifacts assignable during Agile program increments and sprints.
  • Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.
  • Interact with project teams regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
  • Communicate with other technical project personnel, Government stakeholders, and senior executives.
  • Ensure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, to include: Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process Area.
  • Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as Systems Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents.
  • Ensure regulatory and requirements compliance of IT systems.
  • Supervise and mentor subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.


Basic Qualifications:

Level 1
  • 0 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
    • Masters degree is equivalent to 2 years of experience.
    • PhD degree is equivalent to 4 years of experience.

Level 2
  • 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
    • Masters degree is equivalent to 2 years of experience.
    • PhD degree is equivalent to 4 years of experience.

Level 3
  • 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
    • Masters degree is equivalent to 2 years of experience.
    • PhD degree is equivalent to 4 years of experience.

Level 4
  • 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
    • Masters degree is equivalent to 2 years of experience.
    • PhD degree is equivalent to 4 years of experience.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting DoD programs.
  • Experience with IT systems and cloud-based technologies.
  • INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or Expert System Engineering Professional (ESEP).
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
  • ITIL certification.


Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have an active/currentSecret security clearance.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
