Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage our Deltek Costpoint system, oversee accounting functions, and coordinate business operations. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Deltek Costpoint, accounting, and a background in logistics and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deltek Costpoint Management:
    • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the Deltek Costpoint ERP system.
    • Ensure accurate entry and management of financial transactions within the system.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly.
  • Accounting Functions:
    • Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
    • Conduct month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
    • Develop and implement financial controls to ensure data integrity and safeguard assets.
  • Defense Contracting:
    • Ensure compliance with government contracting regulations and standards.
    • Prepare and submit financial reports and invoices in accordance with defense contract requirements.
    • Coordinate with government auditors and respond to audit inquiries.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of accounting and logistics professionals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals.
    • Provide training and support to staff on Deltek Costpoint and related processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on defense contracting and logistics.
  • Solid Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint is required.
  • Strong knowledge of government contracting regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Experience with supply chain management in a defense contracting environment.
  • Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and defense contract audit agency (DCAA) requirements.
