As a CACI Data Scientist (Systems Integrator) working at US Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), you will integrate the Maven Smart System (MSS) with other tools to enhance efficiency and decision-making. Using expertise in software development and data engineering, you'll design innovative solutions and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and mission-critical systems.
  • Integrate the Maven Smart System with other tools and systems using coding skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Develop and maintain custom applications and tools to optimize the functionality of the MSS.
  • Design and develop data pipelines and architectures that enhance the efficiency and scalability of the MSS.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Create and maintain Application Programming Interfaces (API) to enable seamless integration of the MSS with other platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define API requirements and implement effective solutions.
  • Develop and execute testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and quality of integrated systems.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to address quality assurance needs and deliver dependable solutions.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Current Secret Clearance and the ability to attain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 2 years of experience in data science or data engineering. Equivalent combinations of education and specialized experience, such as an Associate degree with 7 years of experience, or more than 11 years of recent specialized experience will also be considered.
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of software development concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in data engineering and API development.


Desired:
  • Experience with data analytics and AI in support of Geographic Combatant Command operations.
  • Experience with the Maven Smart System and its integration with existing Command and Control systems.
  • Proficiency in designing and maintaining complex data pipelines and architectures.
  • Familiarity with integration processes for mission-critical systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience implementing testing and quality assurance processes in technical environments.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$74,600-$156,700
