Responsibilities

We are seeking a Data Center Engineer to join our national intelligence program that delivers engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades and sustainment of products and services to achieve our client's global missions.

The candidate must have demonstrated experience, ability to think critically, creatively, and strategically with excellent written and oral communications. The candidate will have commensurate engineering and systems architecture experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop enterprise IT solutions across colocations, data centers, and cloud environments.
  • Design and implement data center infrastructure and systems.
  • Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies into customer infrastructures to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses to determine optimal solutions, maximizing the use of existing or commercially available components.
  • Align IT solutions with customer business processes related to data collection, analysis, production, and dissemination.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance and inspections of equipment and software.
  • Test and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for effective resolution that resolves root causes.
  • Assess network and server architecture for efficiency, improvements, or upgrades.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of the data center's layout, systems, and processes.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including customer meetings, technical presentations, whiteboard sessions, and custom solution design.
  • Work closely with Client Advocates to build strong customer relationships and identify new opportunities for collaboration.
  • Respond to requests for proposal (RFP) and requests for information (RFI), develop statements of work (SOWs), and generate bills of materials (BOMs).
  • Lead technical workshops, demos, and proofs of concept to showcase proposed solutions.
  • Recommend, develop, and propose innovative customer solutions and service offerings.
  • Translate customer priorities, challenges, and initiatives into actionable business opportunities.
  • Develop IT strategies that align with customer missions and operational requirements.
  • Create and refine service offerings to ensure alignment with cutting-edge technologies and evolving market needs.
  • Collaborate with original equipment manufacturers (OEM) partners and internal teams to drive strategic and complex opportunities to successful outcomes.
  • Sustain and deepen relationships with customer technical staff, ensuring alignment with their mission objectives.


**Position is Contingent on Contract Award**

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to pass a counter-intelligence scope (CI) Poly clearances.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering, or equivalent technical discipline with 8 years of relevant experience (Master's degree and 6 years of relevant experience; PhD and 3 years of relevant experience).
  • Expertise in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and colocation services.
  • Strong analytical skills for cost-benefit analysis and IT strategy development.
  • Familiarity with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions and their integration into enterprise environments.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearances.
  • Proven ability to lead technical design and architecture for complex systems.
  • Proficiency in responding to RFPs, creating SOWs, and generating BOMs.
  • ITIL or other applicable professional certifications.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and Salesforce software

Security Clearance:

This Position requires an Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a CI Poly, US Citizenship is required

To hold this clearance.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
