Responsibilities

Task Lead will serve as a project lead to provide oversight to a government agency's IT infrastructure, telecommunications requirements, and service desk. The Task Lead will manage approximately 50 contractors who are responsible for the IT services and providing direction and guidance to the subordinate teams consisting of server, network, database, service, and other related teams that are responsible for 12 separate networks and telecommunications systems of all classification levels serving more than 400 users. The Task Lead will use IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices to work on various IT services according to standard practices. The Task Lead will be responsible for the quality and efficiency of the contractor's performance and will assist the Government with all financial and business processes of the task.

As the Task Lead, the candidate will work with team leads to:
  • Provide functional knowledge of operational and support processes for their service area.
  • Clarify/resolve process-related activities for technical team.
  • Understand existing and proposed delivery process, procedures, and tools by function.
  • Monitor and report progress against plans through final acceptance and sign-off.
  • Manage, coordinate, and resolve project issues, decisions, and risks.
  • Personnel / Performance Management: Responsibilities include interviewing, selection and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • 12 years of experience, may have supervisory or management experience.
  • Active/current TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Experience within the last seven years leading and supervising teams in a Government networking and infrastructure environment (classified and unclassified) similar in scope and complexity to this TO.
  • Experience in the last seven years leading systems administration and systems engineering tasks, including configuring and troubleshooting desktop systems, virtualized servers, storage arrays, and network systems.
  • Experience in the last seven years with the design, installation, administration and troubleshooting of desktop and networking infrastructure in a Linux, UNIX, and MS operating environment.
  • Experience in the last seven years with the administration, configuration and troubleshooting of Local Area Network (LAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN), including wireless components, firewalls, routing and switching, Internet Protocol version 6 (IPV6) and VPN.
  • Experience in the last seven years with unified communications, including the design, installation, maintenance, and administration of VTC system for multi-level classification environments (Unclassified, Secret, and TS/SCI).

Desired Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a hybrid on-site/remote work team.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
  • DoD 8570 Baseline IAM-III or IAT-III level certification.
  • Completed ITIL Foundations level certification.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in the last ten years leading and supervising teams in a Government and private networking and infrastructure environment (classified and unclassified) similar in scope and complexity to this TO.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in the last ten years with the administration, configuration and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN, including wireless components, firewalls, routing and switching, IPV6 and VPN, and cloud computing.
  • Minimum of four years' experience in the last ten years with system and network security implementation and management.
  • Minimum of four years' experience in the last ten years working with the RMF.
  • Minimum of five years' experience within the last seven years leading and supervising teams in a Government networking and infrastructure environment (classified and unclassified) similar in scope and complexity to this TO.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in the last seven years leading systems administration and systems engineering tasks, including configuring and troubleshooting desktop systems, virtualized servers, storage arrays, and network systems.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in the last seven years with the design, installation, administration and troubleshooting of desktop and networking infrastructure in a Linux, UNIX, and MS operating environment.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in the last seven years with the administration, configuration and troubleshooting of Local Area Network (LAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN), including wireless components, firewalls, routing and switching, Internet Protocol version 6 (IPV6) and VPN.

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
