Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Lead System Integrator to support the National Geospatial Agencies ongoing data services program for geospatial intelligence in Springfield, VA. We are seeking a skilled system integrator and cloud computing professional to lead integration tasks and provide consultation support to a variety of Government Product Owners.

Responsibilities of the System Integrator:
- Guide Product Managers and Lead Developers to ensure the seamless integration and interoperability of end-to-end development capabilities.
- Oversee projects to guarantee the timely production of high-quality products that meet requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to understand and establish software requirements.
- Provide hands-on support for system integration tasks.
- Analyze and propose budgetary activities for both short-term and long-term planning.
- Test and evaluate software functionality and design concepts.
- Participate in working groups to streamline costs, assess risks and gaps, and provide strategic support.
- Monitor project performance to identify and implement necessary adjustments, such as portfolio rebalancing.
- Interface with government engineering and senior management teams.
- Coordinate with 3rd-party vendors/service providers on all touchpoints, including application upgrades and production support issues.
Qualifications of the System Integrator:
- Master's degree plus 4 years experience, Bachelor's degree plus 6 years experience, Associates degree plus 12 years experience, or a minimum of 15 years experience in a relevant field.
- At least 10 years' experience with: API development, AWS services (S3, DIODE, SNS/SQS, SDK development, CloudFormation), Apache NiFi, ElasticSearch, PKI, Terraform, Jenkins/GitLab CI, Containerization (e.g., Docker), Basic shell programming and system administration
- At least 7 years' experience with integrator skills, including: Automated testing tools such as Cucumber, Pact, JMeter, Elastic Logstash Kibana (ELK) framework, Understanding of ICD503 A&A controls, AWS Lambda, Ansible/Salt, PCF, Kong
- Applicable software/hardware/management training & certifications (e.g., specialties like Amazon Web Service architect/engineering)
