Financial Operations Analyst, Lead
The Opportunity:

That's why we need you, an experienced finan cia l analyst who can show a team how to navigate the requirements, policies , and regulations that govern funding, to make sure the Department of Defense's (DoD) resources can make the most impact.
As a finan cia l analyst on our team, you'll oversee the creation of a finan cia l management strategy to help the DoD succeed. You'll help the program management team to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.
As a finan cia l analysis authority, you'll leverage your expertise in laws, regulations, and policies to help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you'll make sure the funding is used efficiently through your team's consistent tracking and communication with the program management team. This is your chance to help enable DoD mission success while acting as a finan cia l analysis expert for both clients and your team.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or budget ing
- Experience reviewing and applying DoD finan cia l regulations and procedures asso cia ted with recording, reporting, processing, and monitoring budget ary tra nsa ctions, including the DoD's planning, programming, budget ing, and execution ( PPBE ) processes
- Experience with historical comparative analysis of finan cia l records, recurring error reports, taking corrective action, and generating a variety of standard reports
- Knowledge of finan cia l accounting principals
- Knowledge of Micro sof t Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to develop and manipulate pivot tables, charts, functions, complex formulas, and the integration of these products into presentations
- Ability to use automated databases asso cia ted with a specific accounting, budget , or finan cia l management functions sufficient to input a range of standard information or adjustments
