Responsibilities

  • Manages the day-to-day activities for a moderately complex technical or non-technical project
  • Manages the administrative/operational leadership of a project within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer
  • Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained
  • Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received
  • May conduct performance/project analyses to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions
  • Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies
  • Coordinates communications between the government and CPP members
  • Tracks and manages CPP taskers and actions
  • Facilitates operations of the CPP
  • The position will also be the alternate Executive Assistant for the Director, DoD Special Access Program Central Office when the primary is not in the office.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience working on Defense programs/projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, or related field
  • TS/SCI required upon application submission
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles
  • Previous experience with Special Access Program is preferred.
  • PMP Certification is preferred
