Senior Full Stack Developer
Position Overview:
The Senior Full Stack Developer designs, builds, and maintains secure and scalable web applications while ensuring adherence to federal compliance standards. This role integrates workflows, develops APIs, and implements advanced fraud detection dashboards.
Work Location: USAC HQ, Washington, DC (Hybrid, 2x onsite per week); All work performed in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deploy scalable web applications with secure architectures on Azure or AWS platforms.
• Develop and customize workflows and integrate APIs to enhance application functionality.
• Generate and maintain documentation, including Technical Design Documents, Interface Control Documents, and Data Flow Diagrams.
• Implement real-time performance monitoring and manage security vulnerabilities proactively.
• Optimize cloud resources with cost-monitoring tools in Azure and AWS.
• Ensure system compliance with OMB, NIST, and FISMA standards to achieve ATO.
• Build dashboards with customizable reports and real-time alerts.
• Provide iterative improvements and robust post-production support.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack development with expertise in APIs, dashboards, and scalable architectures.
• Proficient in Angular, NodeJS, NestJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Power BI.
• Skilled in designing and developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experienced in building cloud-based applications and leveraging cloud services.
• Proficiency in Azure and AWS cloud environments with a focus on cost optimization and security.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps best practices and OKTA integration.
• Deep understanding of federal compliance standards (OMB, NIST, FISMA).
• U.S.-based, with the ability to pass a background check.
