T-Rex Solutions is seeking a qualified Help Desk Specialist to support of a secure customer located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah (HAFB). The overall program that this role supports aims to modernize legacy USAF network infrastructure and migrate services into a new AWS Cloud Environment. For any candidates not already local to the Ogden, UT area, T-Rex is offering a relocation support package to assist with moving costs.

Responsibilities:
  • Support a Help Desk for the Hill CEDC and its customer programs.
  • The Help Desk shall triage incident and work order tickets for classification and priority, perform AIS updates where required, and be the central point of contact for customers seeking status updates or scheduling information
  • Incident Management and Troubleshooting and utilize Jira, BMC Remedy, or equivalent tools to log, track, prioritize, and resolve incidents and service requests.
  • Diagnose hardware, software, and network-related issues, escalating complex cases to higher-level support or specialized teams.
  • Ensure timely resolution of tickets within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs), specifically at it pertains to Incident management
  • Monitor IT infrastructure and system performance using SolarWinds or similar monitoring tools.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate with the appropriate teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system-wide issues or service disruptions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or IT related field with two (2) or more years of related professional experience. A Master's Degree and 0+ years of experience or a PhD and 0+ years of experience may be substituted.
  • Must possess an Interim or Active Secret Clearance
  • Must possess a current CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills are required for interfacing with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
