• MUST HAVE 8-10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS AN EXPERT IMAGERY SCIENTIST WITH PERFORMING THIS ROLE AT THE NATIONAL GEOSPATIAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY or ANOTHER INTEL AGENCY REQUIRED

Overview:

Successful candidate must have expert demonstrated experience Geospatial Intelligence Analysis in advising leadership on foreign visitor support and new tradecraft development and delivery of the analytical workforce.

Duties:

• Serve as a foreign mission partner lead for NGA-D OPIR, provide NGA-D with all aspects of foreign visitor support to include ADF-C and NGA-D overview briefings.
• Provide OPIR with subject matter expert (SME) support to offices involved in new tradecraft development and delivery for the analytic workforce.
• Provide OPIR with subject matter expert (SME) support to NGA-D analysis branches and the NGA-D analysis lead for working level visit assistance, NGA-D analysis meetings and serve as lead for coordinating and consolidating enterprise analysis and production test plans.
• Provide OPIR with subject matter expert (SME) support to analytic and tradecraft experts to advise NGA foreign disclosure and release office on matters concerning GEOINT. Support NGA international affairs with the placement and development of four (4) ‘five eyes’ integrees working on behalf of the US government and performing an NGA mission.
• Serve as a member of the NGA space line of business, coordinate with US Space Command and NGA Research located at Wright Patterson AFB for improvements and future development of NGA-Denver tools.


Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science or higher in image science, remote sensing, earth science, physical science, engineering, computer science, statistics, or similar engineering/science field.
• Expert knowledge and skills with applied image processing and advanced analysis of radar imagery including, but not limited to:
• Coordinating and consolidating enterprise analysis and production test plans.
• Extensive knowledge of new tradecraft development and delivery for the analytic workforce.
◦ Proficient with imaging radar analysis techniques utilizing advanced imaging and signal processing methods and tools to support new signature and methodology development
◦ Detailed understanding of sensor design principles and their relationship to sensor performance in this phenomenology / discipline.
◦ Demonstrated knowledge and usage of NSG imagery ordering tools, electric light tables and products.
• Excellent interpersonal written and communicative skills, and the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the GEOINT community.
• Demonstrated familiarity with US intelligence community, specifically imagery collection and exploitation and GEOINT’s role in intelligence mission.
• Experience collaborating with all national and service intelligence agencies/centers.
• Knowledge in tasking of overhead intelligence collection systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Access, and Excel
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system.
• Formal training in remote sensing and/or earth science / physical science or engineering / mathematics disciplines.
• Proficient in IDL, Java, C++, Visual Basic, Matlab, R, or other coding languages
• Proficient in Matlab, IDL, or similar image / signal processing capability
• Knowledge and experience in GIS software and methodological principles, especially ArcGIS.
• Advanced degree in a scientific discipline.
• Proficiency in Google Earth engine, ESRI Arc service, Tableau, Web service development
• Experience with GIS software and methodological principles, especially ArcGIS.
