ASRC Federal is seeking a Chief Technology Architect to support our team at Fort Huachuca, AZ.
Position Summary
The Chief Technology Architect for the United States Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (ICoE) plays a critical role in shaping and implementing the organization's technology strategy. This position requires a deep understanding of information technology systems, architectural frameworks, and the latest technological advancements to support military intelligence operations. The Chief Technology Architect is responsible for providing leadership in the design and integration of innovative IT solutions and ensuring that all technological initiatives align with the mission, goals, and objectives of the ICoE. This includes overseeing the development of modernized systems architecture, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify emerging technologies, and ensuring cybersecurity measures are integrated into all technology deployments. The role demands exceptional interpersonal skills for liaising with government stakeholders and an ability to manage complex projects while fostering an environment of innovation and continual improvement.

The Chief Technology Architect will be responsible for the overall design, integration, and management of technology solutions that support the mission of ICoE.

Security Clearance:
- Must be eligible for a TS/SCI security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic technology initiatives that align with the mission and vision of ICoE.
- Architecture Oversight: Design and maintain the architecture of IT systems, ensuring integration across various data centers and operational units.
- Innovation and Emerging Technologies: Identify and recommend new and emerging technologies that could enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with program managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that technology solutions meet mission requirements.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all technology solutions adhere to DoD, Army, and other applicable government agency standards and regulations.
- Support Planning: Provide guidance on technology integration in support of Military Intelligence force development, testing, and experimentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Extensive experience in technology architecture and IT systems management.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, information assurance, and data governance.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred Skills:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with military or government IT operations.
- 10 years experience with design of systems and networks
- Experience with systems analysis and software engineering
- Experience with virtualization and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
- Familiarity with thin/zero client technologies
- Experience with client-server and storage systems
- Extensive experience with network design
- Experience with MacAfee HBSS, Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Server 2012 R2, Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems, Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system.
- Must have experience operating and designing classified networks at the Secret and TS/SCI levels.
- Experience with tactical Military Intelligence systems, specifically the Distributed Common Ground System Army (DCGS-A) mobile.
- Familiarity with procedures for disposition, transport, handling, and maintenance of equipment operating at levels of security classification of Secret and above.

Certifications:
- Bachelor degree (Non-Waiverable)
- Certified at the IAT Level III IAW DoD instruction 8570.1M.
- The following certifications are highly desired: Cisco Certified Network Assistant, Cisco Certified Network Professional, VMWare Certified Professional, NetApp Certified Administrator, NetApp Certified Implementation Storage Engineer, Microsoft Server 2012, Microsoft Server 2016 will be evaluated more favorably.
