SUMMARY:
DAWSON is currently seeking applicants to fill our provider positions located throughout the State of California in support of medical readiness services for the California Army National Guard (CAARNG). Work is primarily on weekends, with some occasional weekdays, at varying sites throughout California. All work is a part-time "as needed' basis. DAWSON provides health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the CAARNG.
Hourly Pay Range: $72.94 to $100 based on experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Periodic Health Assessments of military personnel
- Review health history, soldier's medical records, and medical questionnaires
- Interview soldiers to determine current and prior medical concerns
- Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of behavioral health
- Document interview results for readiness classification in the soldier's medical record using the military module(s)
- Document findings on military approved forms and/or systems
- Safeguard all soldier's information by keeping all written and verbal communications confidential and discrete
- Ensure all actions are in compliance with HIPAA and other appropriate federal and state laws and regulations
- Complete trainings and education/certifications as required
- Follow applicable contractual requirements stipulated by the client and DAWSON
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in California, without restrictions
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Adaptable to fast paced environments, with large volumes of soliders seen daily
- Able to work in various locations, including remote military installations
- Must be able to successfully pass an extensive background check and required to obtain a government Common Access Card (CAC)
- Have a valid US driver's license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly
- Ability to work for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
- Ensure all actions comply with HIPAA and other appropriate federal/state laws and regulation
- Must submit no less than two professional references with a resume
- Must be collaborative and solutions oriented
- Excellent customer service skills and experience interacting with challenging clientele
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge and skills
- Experience working in a military setting and working knowledge of the regulations and policies that apply to Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and deployment preferred
- Previous approval for CAC; either in the military or as a contractor preferred
