Job Description:

Cydecor is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Help Desk Support Specialist, Tier 1 (Junior) to join our team in Crystal City, VA!

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in IT and support more than 600 end users. You will work alongside a team of skilled professionals and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of various technical services.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provide essential help desk support to end users, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Assist with a broad range of IT areas, including operations, networking, cybersecurity, cloud services, and more.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by effectively managing user expectations and escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Learn and work with a variety of tools and technologies to resolve problems and improve user experience.
Here's what you need:

  • Strong interest in IT and technical problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Desire to learn and grow within a dynamic and supportive environment.
  • Windows 10 and Windows 11 administration (1+ years)
  • Hardware & software troubleshooting (1+ years)
  • Office 365 (1+ years)
  • General Network troubleshooting, Active Directory Administration, ITSM ticketing experience, ITIL foundational concepts, and Inventory management experience (1+ year)
  • Soft Skills:
    • Must have good logical thinking and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to learn quickly and tackle new and technically complex problems
    • Ability to multi-task, attention to detail and excellent follow through
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and requirements
    • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
    • Ability to take ownership of assigned IT related issues from start to resolution
    • Ability to work evenings and weekends through on-call rotation schedule

  • OS imaging exposure
  • SharePoint general understanding
  • EndPoint protection General understanding
  • Teams collaboration experience.
  • Conference room AV technology troubleshooting experience
  • VPN exposure and General understanding

Education: High School Degree or above

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
