About This Role:
Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC) a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking a talented Windows IIS Engineer. The primary responsibility will be to provide daily support for Windows Web servers and services. This includes:
Responsibilities:
- Supporting Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) tools and proprietary applications
- Providing support for web applications running on 30+ Windows servers using IIS, with potential future projects involving Apache
- Managing public websites, using Resilio Connect for content replication, and supporting Tectia SSH for Linux server content
- Working with Oracle WebLogic proxies on IIS, with plans to load balance WebLogic servers directly from F5 load balancers
- Managing PowerShell scripts and potentially improving processes with other scripting languages like Python
- Overall general involvement includes basic Windows tasks, scripting, and creating technical documentation, all in support of agency websites and applications. This role offers a diverse environment with opportunities for involvement in various roles and learning opportunities
- Daily shift coverage starts at 8 or 9AM EDT
