Description
SAIC is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to provide A&A and physical security support to a 24/7 Mission Operations Center. Primarily, this involves originating and authoring materials associated with the Customer A&A process for multiple projects. Candidates can also expect to perform the following duties:

SAIC is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to provide A&A and physical security support to a 24/7 Mission Operations Center. Primarily, this involves originating and authoring materials associated with the Customer A&A process for multiple projects. Candidates can also expect to perform the following duties:
- Provide support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
- Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed
- Assist with the management of security aspects of the information system and perform day-to-day security operations of the system
- Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information
- Assist ISSEs in performing vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation; provide configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware
- Coordinate with ISSM Staff to manage changes to system and assess the security impact of those changes
- Prepare and review A&A BOE documentation for multiple projects
- Support security authorization activities in compliance with customer directives
- Heavy involvement with the supervision and implementation of customer required data transfer processes
Qualifications
- Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly clearance
- Minimum of 5 years of ISSO or ISSE experience
- 2 Years of writing experience, ideally technical writing
- Bachelor's Degree, or experience can be substituted for the degree
- Demonstrated experience in obtaining full accreditations of projects
- Experience with 1 or more of the following scanning tools: Rapid7, NMAP, and Nessus
Desired Qualifications:
- CISSP
- Security +
- Working knowledge of cryptographic solutions for Information Systems
- High level of expertise with Visio, Project, and Excel
