The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

SPA has an immediate need for a Systems Engineer to support the onsite SPA team at Hill AFB, UT . The Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Group (SIG) supports the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center in the acquisition of the LGM-35A Sentinel (GBSD) ICBM weapon system. SIG delivers program management, systems engineering, and subject matter expertise to ensure on-time delivery of a safe, secure, and reliable strategic nuclear weapon system.

Responsibilities

Support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and other evolving business pursuits. This Systems Engineering position is a unique opportunity to develop Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) architecture models for existing and new acquisitions efforts.

This new ICBM program will design, develop, produce, and deploy new payload system suites (reentry vehicles and/or countermeasures). The key payload attributes include enhancements in accuracy, lethality, and ICBM Reentry System/Reentry Vehicle (RS/RV) interoperable operations. Program activities will also include the employment of digital acquisitions through the application of digital engineering, agile software development, and open systems architectures.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • U.S. Citizen with DoD SECRET clearance.
  • Seven years directly-related experience (Five with MS Degree)
  • At least two years progressive responsibility providing technical leadership in design, integration, or analytical efforts.

Desired Qualifications:
  • MBSE experience including proficiency in CAMEO and DOORS.
  • Prior experience working complex military weapons systems (especially ACAT I or ICBM).
  • Current TOP SECRET Clearance.
  • Knowledge or experience working with Air Force Operations and acquisition programs.
