Computer Scientist

Amentum is now hiring for a Computer Scientist (All Levels) - CSIA positions in support of the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment CSIA core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of CSIA and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within CSIA.

The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:

• Oversees and develops solutions to computer hardware and software issues.
• Designs system hardware requirements and software applications.
• Utilizes principles of computer science theory and practice.
• Analyzes processes to implement effective changes.
• Creates and circulates design documentation.
• Maintains the company's hardware and software requirements.
• Designs and executes testing procedures.
• Keeps abreast of new industry developments, technologies, and tools to increase performance.
• Has experience in software engineering and programming for large computers, minicomputer and microprocessor-based applications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required.
• 1-10+ years' experience.
• 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.

Compensation:

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $85,000 - $275,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
