Position Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor's degree
- Graduate from a medical technology program
- Current certification or equivalent as a Medical Technologist by the American Medical Technologists or American Society of Clinical Pathologists
- Possess a minimum of two years of experience within the last three years as a Medical Laboratory Technologist
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of automated and non-automated laboratory procedures in the area of chemistry, urinalysis, hematology, serology, and bacteriology
- Determine the suitability of specimens for analysis
- Prepare reagents and primary reference materials as necessary
- Recognize and react to indicators of malfunction
- Conduct quality control procedures on equipment
