A Geospatial Systems Engineer job is available with our client in McLeansville, NC. In this role you will be responsible to design and implement geospatial solutions on programs supporting our national security. You"ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for development and maintenance of command and control and data processing systems. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor"s Degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field plus 2+ years of job-related experience.
***A current active Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at the time of hire***
Geospatial Systems Engineer:
* Be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for development and maintenance of command and control and data processing systems.
* Responsible to design and implement geospatial solutions on programs.
* Experience designing, implementing, and analyzing GIS and database solutions.
* Demonstrated proficiency geospatial analysis and implementation.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor"s Degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field plus 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master"s Degree.
* A current active Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at the time of hire.
* Familiarity with the ArcGIS suite of products.
* Familiarity setting up and working in ArcGIS Enterprise in a virtual environment.
* Experience with source code management tools, such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
* Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
* Comfortable working in an Agile environment.
* Comfortable presenting recommendations and technical solutions to clients.
