ASRC Federal is seeking a Security Assistant to sit in our Moorestown, NJ office. This individual shall perform all tasks required to successfully generate case files in support of the investigation of an applicant's suitability for employment with their corporate security office.

Perform numerous tasks while acting as the initial Point of Contact (POC) for Facility Access, including but not limited to:

Monitor and control physical access to the building's main entrance area.
• Activate and Deactivate the Intrusion Detection System (IDS).
• Check visitor identification and confirm purpose of visit, as well as verified security clearance if applicable.
• Issue and track access swipe cards, maintain badge logs, as well as keys and other security related items.
• Actively monitor the facility property through visual observation and CCTV cameras to identify suspicious activity.
• Enforce building policies while maintaining a visible presence, and responding to any security concerns that arise within the entrance lobby & vicinity.
• Document any security incidents, suspicious behavior, or property damage.
• Initiate emergency procedures in case of fire, medical emergencies, or security threats.
• Maintain contact with other security personnel and building management regarding security updates.
• Conduct regular patrols within the lobby and surrounding areas to maintain a visible presence.
• Provide customer service and upholding a professional demeanor.
• Answer telephone calls and take appropriate action.
• Properly close the building to include locking and logging of all doors, shutting off all lights, and kitchen devices.
• Transfer all monetary assets to a secured lockbox as well as manage and/or secure any lost items.
• Complete periodic door and safe checks
• Perform miscellaneous security related tasks as required.

Requirements:
  • Must be high school graduate.
  • 0-2 years of Microsoft Office Applications experience.
  • Experience with administrative paperwork including records maintenance.
  • 1+ years of experience managing multiple projects and staying organized.
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance (Active Secret clearance preferred)
  • Ability to work a 3:00pm to 11:00pm EST work schedule.
