Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission and customer-oriented Chief Infrastructure Engineer Network (Specialist) to join our team in Washington, DC Metropolitan area-hybrid/virtual.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Direct and control activities for performing functional and timeline analysis, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate requirements into hardware and software specifications.
- Act as technical liaison between operations teams, engineers, and architects, providing critical operational insight to upcoming implementations and strategies, including validation of ongoing solutions supportability.
- Perform design and implement standalone technology that requires the integration with diverse and complex components.
- Design, configure, and test networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software.
- Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
- Maximize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
- Provide specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet contract requirements.
- Exercise independent judgement in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to investigate alternatives, cost analysis, estimation, and decision analysis for obtaining results.
- Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Diagnosis and resolve complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.
- Create and maintain system technical documentation from design through sustainment.
- Interact with users to gather requirements, evaluate vendor products, analyze alternative, and make recommendations for technical refresh.
- Develop and maintain systems configurations and executes administration and operational duties on computer systems while maintaining data/information as required.
- Lead technical meetings related to integration and continuous management.
Basic Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Information Technology or related discipline
- A minimum of (20) twenty years of experience relevant to the role
- An IT Infrastructure Library version four (ITIL v4) certification
- Multiple industry certifications relevant to job duties
- Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, Agile, Cloud Technologies, and Networking Engineering best practices and methodologies
- Experience with various cloud platforms and management technologies
- Extensive engineering experience with various operating systems and network architectures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated initiatives, sound judgement, and efficient decision-making
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Doctorate's degree
- Extensive knowledge and experience designing and implementing complex solutions in cloud environment
- Extensive experience designing, developing in or transitioning systems in a hybrid cloud delivery model
- Experience designing, installing, operating, and maintaining virtual environments/services
- Experience with cybersecurity technology standards, policies and procedures
- Strong domain knowledge and expertise in one or more technical areas within the work requirements (Cloud design and implementation, Cybersecurity, Agile/DevSecOps software development methodology and Network engineering
