Responsibilities

As a Project Control Specialist with MTSI you will provide support to the US Space Force, Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO-S), in its mission to provide defensive cyber capabilities to the warfighter. You will provide financial support to integrate defensive cyber systems into legacy and new space systems, gain support for new and on-going efforts in all phases of the acquisition life cycle, and develop and utilize engineering technical services to obtain systems engineering support and processes within DCO-S.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

• Track and manage program funding, costs, revenue, and profit. Manage travel and other non-labor expenses for all teammates and vendors. Coordinate, prepare, and submit contract deliverables in a timely manner. Process all contract non-labor purchasing. Provide inputs for division level data analysis of financial performance. Act as liaison between PMO and corporate functional staff

Qualifications

Required skills/experience:

• 2-5 years directly related professional experience
• Tracking and managing ceiling and funding at all levels for teammates
• Maintaining a project travel budget
• Tracking travel from request and approval to completion for all teammates
• Reviewing and approving expense reports
• Tracking bill holds and accruals to closure across billing cycles
• Close monitoring of funding levels and calculating/providing recommendations for funding request and disbursements as well as identifying risk
• Preparing and submitting contract deliverables, to include travel activity reports for prime and subcontractor teammate personnel
• Creating, executing, and tracking purchase requisitions and purchase orders for all non-labor expenses
• Revenue/profit forecasting and EAC modeling
• Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint or similar tool
• Experience with Smartsheet
• Microsoft Excel experience - Intermediate

Desired skills/experience:

• Familiarity with large subcontractor teams
• Knowledge of multiple contract types (Time & Materials, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Firm Fixed Price)
• General understanding of the FAR
• Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint
• Experience with IBM Cognos/Deltek Business Intelligence
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Math from an accredited college or university

Clearance Requirements:

• Active Secret clearance

Location/Travel Requirements:

• Place of work is Huntsville, AL. Hybrid remote work opportunity available. You might be required to travel periodically, less than 10%.
