Senior Visualization Specialist
Position Requirement:
MUST BE A US CITIZEN
ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED
MUST HAVE 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH
PERFORMING THIS ROLE AT THE NATIONAL
GEOSPATIAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY REQUIRED
Locations: St. Louis, Missouri
Job Type: Full-Time Employee
The ideal candidate will have an indepth understanding of the Visualization
processes at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), a strong
background in geospatial analysis, automation technologies, and a keen eye for
detail.
Qualification Requirements:
At least 10 years of relevant graphic design experience. A bachelor's degree in a
field related (e.g. Fine Arts, Graphic Arts, Computer Graphics, Liberal Arts or
technical degree where graphic arts or digital image processing is core to the
degree) to the support services may count for up to four years of this
experience.
A master's degree in a field related to the support services may count for up to
two additional years of this experience.
Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency on PC platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Working familiarity with structured authoring software (using SGML, HTML, and XML).
Demonstrated expertise using Adobe Creative Suite.
Working knowledge of MaPublisher and Arc GIS.

, • Demonstrated aptitude in working with current, industry-standard Design
graphics for and review NGA standard products, briefing materials and visual
aids, and other products, as required.
• Work with customers to design intelligence graphics that clearly and
accurately convey the intelligence story.
• Understand design principles and elements, typography, text layout, and
color theory to create custom products as needed.
• Provide guidance to customers on the design, layout, and presentation of their
products.
• Create custom graphics by translating complex data into easy-to-understand visuals.
• Archive and disseminate products following established guidelines.
• Attend regularly scheduled production support meetings and stay current
with ongoing production support initiatives.
• Review all visual elements, such as maps, tables, charts, timelines, and
illustrations used to convey for adherence to IC, Agency standards
• Demonstrate customer service excellence by clearly and concisely
communicating work status, methods, instructions, problems, requirements,
options, and concerns with team members, managers, and Government
customers within NGA and the IC.
• Participate in meetings with Government customers, team members,
Contractors, etc., to exchange information, and/or provide updates.
• Support the o ice in accomplishing the overall mission, including expediting crisis
work, special
assignments, and ad hoc tasking on variously scheduled arrangements.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of web and multimedia technologies.
• Familiarity with the US Intelligence Community-specifically, imagery collection and
exploitation.
Education Requirements:
