In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado and New York State is $112,500 - $209,500 and Virginia area is $129,500 - $240,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Job Description:

Essential Functions:
- The Software engineer will perform the development and integration via industry best practices, including Agile methodologies for the government system.
- The Software Engineer will provide mission application and framework development support.
- The Software Engineer participates in a development team that uses modern DevSecOps software practices and a technology-supported development infrastructure.
- The Senior Software Engineer will help maintain and develop new capabilities to the deployed system, diagnose and resolve issues, and provide support to end-users as needed.
- The ideal candidate will have the technical talent and desire to continuously learn new skills and technologies.
- The ideal candidate will provide on-the-job mentoring to junior engineers as needed.
- Utilize Agile Software Development Processes and Methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban)
Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with consent to CI Poly
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline and minimum 6 - 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 5 - 7 years of prior software experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 - 13 years of prior software experience.
- Experience with Java, JEE object oriented programming
- Experience with JavaScript, Vue.js framework
- Experience with Microservices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Spring Boot framework
- Experience with C++ and/or Python programming languages
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar Relational Database Management System (RDBMS)
- Experience with containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or GovCloud
- Experience with Front-End web development, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, or HTML
- Experience with unit testing
- Experience with integration and development tools, including AWS, Docker, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
- Knowledge of REST APIs
