Cloud Engineer
As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cutting-edge cloud solutions that drive mission-critical operations. You’ll lead the development of scalable and secure cloud infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless integrations and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
Provide engineering expertise and requirement decomposition to ensure robust program solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, integrate, and test solutions for complex technical requirements.
Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based architectures aligned with best practices.
Prepare detailed operating instructions and deliver end-user training.
Drive the adoption of new cloud technologies and continuously improve capabilities with innovative tools and methodologies.
Develop and enforce cloud governance strategies to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes to increase efficiency and minimize manual intervention.
Act as a subject matter expert on cloud engineering, contributing to knowledge sharing and best practices.
Participate in all phases of risk management assessments and architecture planning.
Qualifications
Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
Experience:
6+ years in cloud engineering, specializing in designing and managing cloud solutions.
Proven success in building AWS cloud infrastructure solutions at scale across multiple classification domains (IL5 to IL6+).
Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and EBS, with knowledge of Azure or Google Cloud as a plus.
Hands-on experience creating, managing, and securing desktop OS images across classification domains using AMIs.
Proficiency in automating the deployment of Linux-based developer desktops and integrating enterprise authentication and authorization systems.
Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
In-depth understanding of cloud security best practices and implementing controls in cloud environments.
Advanced scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
Strong problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting complex cloud-related challenges.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.
