Lead Patient Accounting Solutions Architect

Our client, a leading Government Systems Integrator, is in need of a Lead Patient Accounting Solutions Architect for an initial 12 month remote contract in support of an enterprise DoD EHR Modernization effort. The Lead Patient Accounting Solutions Architect will be responsible for helping to develop and implement solutions for optimizing Revenue Cycle processes, enhancing operational efficiency and revenue recovery across an enterprise DoD environment, providing patient accounting business operations input into new capability design, providing patient accounting input into workflow optimization, perform technical and business related research to support the design, workflows and processes to support changes to the patient accounting applications of the customer platform (Cerner), support the development of engineering presentations for patient accounting, support design and testing activities, develop product initiatives, present to customer and government leadership, etc.

Required Skills:

• At least 12 years of overall experience with a bachelors degree.
• Extensive Oracle Health (Cerner) patient accounting application experience.
• Ability to communicate with program and government leadership.
• Previous hospital patient accounting experience including experience with CDM maintenance, suspended charges, denials management and edit failure resolution.
• Workflow design expertise.
• Expertise in facilitation of design sessions.
• Previous experience with RevSpring, SSI and Alpha II.
