Role: Forward Deployed Engineer
Location: Washington D.C. or New York
Clearance: Secret or above
Salary: $100k-$200k + Equity (Depending on experience)
My client is a leader in the defense tech space, and they are scaling their team that focuses on projects for the government. In this role, you will work with the client's customers to help deploy their software within regulated environments across the DoD. A mixed background in software engineering, DevOps, and stakeholder management is needed to be successful.
They are looking to hire up to 5 people, so we can consider candidates with 2+ years of commercial experience and the following background:
Active Secret clearance or higher
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics
Strong Linux experience
Experience with CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Kubernetes (OpenShift, Rancher), Prometheus, and Grafana
Programming experience in Python, Java, or Bash
Experience working in air-gapped environments
Experience deploying K8S products
