The Opportunity:

NTS is seeking a Sales Account Director who will oversee client relationship management, developing account and territory strategies, and conduct sales activities within the US Federal Government sector. Key responsibilities include advising customers on how software can support their cloud-to-edge strategy, identifying and coordinating with specialist resources, and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline. The position requires 10+ years of technology software sales experience, the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance, and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee client relationship mapping, orchestrating an account strategy while coordinating with a broad virtual team.
  • Account planning, territory planning, researching prospective customers, using business development strategies, and completing field-based sales activities within a defined set of prospects, territory or vertical within the US Federal Government.
  • Be a trusted advisor to your customers by understanding their business and advising on how Software can help their cloud-to-edge strategy.
  • Identify the right specialist/ support resources to bring into a deal, at the right time.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline.


Qualifications:
  • Must be a United States citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with the US Government.
  • 10 + years of technology software and solution sales experience.
  • Experience producing new business, negotiate deals, and maintain healthy C-Level relationships.
  • Ability to operate independently during the initial phases of the sales cycle.
  • Experience promoting customer success focus in a "win as a team" environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite Tools
  • Work location: Remote
  • Work hours: 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday (Local)
