Business Financial Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Create a finan cia l management strategy and execution to help the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's ( DARPA ) microelectronics manufacturing program succeed. Work with project management professionals, schedulers, task leads, contract offi cia ls, academia, government, and industry leaders to help shape the future of three-dimensional heterogeneous integration ( 3DHI ) , establishing a self-sustaining 3DHI manufacturing center at an existing facility, owned and operated by a non-federal entity and accessible to users in academia, government, and the industry. Execute the goal of producing high-performance 3DHI microsystems at reasonable cost, with cycle times supporting fast-paced innovative research. Serve as a Senior Business Finan cia l Manager ( BFM ) , managing the finan cia l and business life cycle of a dynamic microelectronics manufacturing program. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive te chn ical expertise to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work independently in a fast-paced environment, directly with government program managers and contract performers. Coordinate with members of the supporting contracting team. Provide strategic planning, program and project management, budget ing and finan cia l execution, document creation, and administrative and logistical coordination. Manage program finances, supporting the development of program budget s, schedules, and tracking finan cia l variances, commitments, obligations, and expenditures. Support the development of new program acquisition solicitations and contracting actions. Instill appropriate change management and control principles.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing programs and finances in a DoD environment
  • Experience in a professional program finance or cost control role
  • Experience supporting the development of program budget s and schedules, and tracking finan cia l commitments, obligations, and expenditures
  • Experience with Micro sof t Excel formulas and pivot tables
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a Finance, Accounting, or Economics field


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Defense Agencies Initiative ( DAI ) finan cia l system
  • Experience generating military interdepartmental purchase requests ( MIPR ) or purchase request ( PR ) documents
  • Experience with Cost and Sof tware Data Reporting ( CSDR ) Flexfile and Quantity Reports
  • Experience with Agile Methodology and Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence
  • Knowledge of the microelectronics industry
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation ( FAR ) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental ( DFARS )
  • Ability to exhibit flexibility, adaptability, and teamwork
  • Earned Value Professional ( EVP ) or Project Management Professional ( PMP ) Certification


Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
